My Picture of the Month

 

This is a pseudo HDR photograph of the river at Finchale Priory, near Durham.  It's almost a lost world world when you can get about 400 yards (650m) downstream of the main visitor's area.  You have to wade waist deep past the high sides of the gorge which means there are no footpaths to allow anyone to disturb you.   An ideal place to relax and attempt to catch an elusive trout or two for your supper.
